Pauline Elizabeth (Brown) Faulkingham, aged 76 years, of Tiverton, RI, died on Thursday March 13, 2014, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Boston, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Rev. James W. Faulkingham, who predeceased her on August 26, 2004. She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Frederick F. and Muriel F. (Nutter) Brown. She was a graduate of the New England School of Theology. Pauline was a social worker for the Town of Middleboro Welfare Department, for several years, before working for the Massachusetts Welfare Department, Taunton, and later for St. Andre’s Nursing Home, Biddeford, ME. She was a lifelong member of the Advent Christian Church, Fall River. She was an active member of the Tremont Advent Christian Camp Meeting Association in Marion. Survivors include a daughter, Lynne E. Robbins of Tiverton, RI; a step-daughter, Karen L. Gregory of Olmstedville, NY; two step-sons, Steven J. Faulkingham of Plainville, and Peter H. Faulkingham of Miami, FL; a brother, Edmund A. Brown of Fall River; a sister, Carolyn J. Henry of Newport, RI; three grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 18th from 5-8 pm in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St Middleboro. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19th at 11 am in the Advent Christian Church, Coral St Fall River. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
